Join the WESTMORELAND COUNTY SCORE Chapter #555 Counseling Team ! Looking for a way to "put something back" or "make a difference"? SCORE may be the vehicle for you! Sometimes we get a lot of satisfaction out of helping people (who are ready to start a business) make a safe, profitable and efficient start. Sometimes we can show people (who don't yet have the resources or experience required to be in business) the hazards of making a start with insufficient money or ideas that have not been properly evaluated for market appeal or profit potential. Chapter 555 is looking for a few volunteers to assist us in accomplishing our mission. We are looking for men and women with experience in business start-ups, financing, planning, marketing, retailing and merchandising, engineering, or other aspects of small business management. Successful applicants, after a short training period, will become members of a special group of people willing to pass on their secrets of success to others. Guidance and support, based on their years of experience in the business world can play an important role in helping small businesses achieve success. Members also serve on one of their chapter's committees, and assist in conducting business seminars in local schools and colleges.
